Our great friends, who have finally made it to Coll after being marooned in Wivenhoe for summer 2020. Strongly recommended if you find yourself in the area!
WILD SMITHS
On a different tack, we were recently approached by Fraser Wear https://fraserwear.co.uk/, a new, small company supplying sustainable cottonwear with environmental designs, and supporting environmental charities (Marine Conservation Society, Gwent Wildlife Trust, Wolf Watch UK). We certainly approve of the designs, and now can vouch for the quality of the garment. And the sustainability credentials (including of the cotton supply, fabrication and printing) all seem exemplary.
For anyone looking for advice on how to improve your garden for wildlife and incorporate into it a shed that doubles as an observation hide, we have been pointed to this website www.gardenbuildingsdirect.co.uk/blog/garden-wildlife-watching-room/. Although produced by a company wishing to sell sheds, the advice all seems very sound!
